Wrapping up summer

Another summer has come and gone, and we've already got a few days of school under our belts.  I'm pretty sure this was our fastest moving summer yet.  It felt like we just paused briefly from school, and now we're right back to it.  Except now I have two middle schoolers and a second grader.  YIKES!  Our last year with all 3 boys at ECS.  It makes my heart hurt to think about that....but so excited for a great 8th grade year for Jack.  

and now for a quick, end-of-summer recap...

which he got through like a champ

he has healed up perfectly

and was all ready for middle school on back to school night...

which of course needed to be celebrated with ice cream.  

and then they were off for their first day...

and this....all the feels...my littlest brought this home from school yesterday💕😊

So here's to a great summer...and to the start of a great school year....can't wait for all that it holds!
