Holy Week

It’s Holy Week.  What a profound week in the life of a believer.  It’s the week that ties everything together.  The events of Holy Week, followed by that glorious resurrection morning, are where we find grace and forgiveness, hope and joy, and the perfect example of complete sacrificial giving.  It's where we see the love of our Father bridging the gap between Himself and our sinful world.  What an amazing love.  A gift laid at the foot of the cross for all to receive.  All we need to do is ask, accept, and follow.  Happy Easter all.  May you find Jesus at the center of your celebrations! and this...oh my heart....a throwback to a few years ago when Luke was first beginning to understand the true meaning of Easter.... and back to 7 year old Luke...we're calling him Toothless these days :). Jack continues to learn new skills and is such a great help at the farm and this guy is back on the ball field.    His team took home first place in the first tournament of the season.  Great

The last month and a half have been nothing short of a whirlwind....moments of confusion mixed with moments of clarity....times of pain and loss and times of such joy and gratitude....answers to prayers so close to my heart and silence to prayers that are still being worked out in God's perfect timing....sickness and health....glimpses of life possibly returning to "what it used to be like".... and through it all God's continued promise to hold us close and give us the peace our hearts so deeply desire.   I'm still processing the fact that we actually pulled off rescheduling our trip that COVID had cancelled, all in a matter of weeks.  We wrestled with whether or not to still go...but decided to go ahead with it, and boy am I glad we did.  I'm so thankful that we are a crew that actually loves to be with each other.  So in spite of regulations and things feeling a bit out of whack when travelling during a pandemic, we had such a wonderful time.  A few days of
