praise Him.

As most of you know, winter is just not my thing.  I like warmth.  I like sunshine.  I like my feet in nothing but flip flops.  But even in the coldest of seasons, that sometimes feel dark and dreary, the Lord gives us sunrises like these.... and sunsets like these..... and all I can do is praise him.   Psalm 65:8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. The boys have both had some pretty fun first experiences that this momma just needs to share.  We'll start with the oldest and work our way down. :)   Jack finally got to do something he has been wanting to do for a very long time.  Watch out folks! there's a new grass cutter in town.  What a great job he did to help tidy up the farm lane. And yesterday, Chase got to do something we have talked about doing for a very long time.  He has his mommy's heart for music....and wow...what a moment...to have him with

the third one's visit was not a charm

When it comes to your third child, some things really are just easier....giving up bottles, moving out of the highchair, learning to crawl and walk, moving into a big boy bed, and even potty training.  All things that he is eager to do all because his main goal in life right now is to be like his big brothers.  To that I say "Great!".  makes things a little easier for mom.  Well let me tell you about a time when this did not apply.  as in, not even close.  as in, it did not matter one single bit that it was something his big brothers do all the time.  the dentist.  Needless to say, his first visit did not go as I expected.  He has been to the office many times and watched as the older two went in for their visits and saw them coming out with new toothbrushes, prizes, and balloons.  What's not to love?!  I assumed, like with so many other things, this would be a pretty smooth experience.  Just one more thing he could do to be a big boy like his brothers.  We left the offic
