well sometime between now and my last post, the pace of life seems to have reached a new level of crazy.  I knew it was coming.  spring means corn planting which means daddy disappears for several weeks which means mommy's patience becomes a little on the short side which means we say lots of prayers for extra doses of grace which means that in the midst of all the crazy, we really are loving this wonderful spring season.   baseball is in full swing, tons of fun school activities have been squeezed into the calendar before the school year comes to an end, the garden is planted and ready for some tlc, the majority of our free time is spent outside, the flowers are blooming, and we're enjoying some pretty amazing sunsets.  I'm so thankful for this time of year.  yes it's a bit hectic, but the newness of life in God's beautiful creation always gives me some much needed extra energy and joy.  Happy Springtime!

Opening Day! we had a wonderful day watching my favorite little ball players.

our screened-in porch is by far one of my favorite things about our house.

Garden Project 2015.  such a good daddy.  despite his working pretty much nonstop these last few weeks, on his one of rest he is making his 7 year old a very happy boy.
