September recap

Happy October!  The month where two of my babies will turn yet another year older.  The month that is looking to be just as busy as the last....but with so many fun things in store.  I enjoy the fast paced schedule for a time...but by the time November rolls around I'm ready for the slow down that always finds us.  But for now, it's full speed ahead

We are so grateful that all of our corn is harvested....especially as we hear talk of a possible hurricane this weekend.  God provided a few weeks of great weather and a good harvest season.  Jack is always a little sad to see the season end.  He understands the importance of finishing the job...but he just loves the whole process so much.  He waits all year for it and then it's gone in a few weeks.  He just loves being a part of Willin Farms.

And to think that there may be someone else who loves the farm and tractors as much as Jack!  Luke cannot get enough of it.  Such a sweet bond between these two guys.  Jack is a huge help and plays so well with his little brother.

His littlest brother I should say.  His other brother....well they find other ways to bond.  Physical contact being the primary way.  It is all out competition.  They go from baseball to soccer to basketball to the most entertaining....football.  So thankful for a backyard that serves as a spacious sports field.  boys will be boys I suppose.

I am loving having the opportunity to volunteer at the boy's school.  It's so fun to see them in that environment and be able to get to know their friends and teachers.

We are loving soccer season.  Both of the boys have wonderful coaches and are learning so much and really developing their skills.  It's so fun to watch them play.

Beginning in September we have had a new service time at church....which means that I do not need to go nearly as early for Worship Team rehearsal....which also means that now we can go together as a family in the mornings.  Luke likes joining in on the rehearsal time.  love my little buddy.

Happy Fall!  Here's hoping this hurricane takes a turn out to sea :)
