vacation

As I sit here this morning I am thinking one thing.  Thank goodness it's not last Saturday!  While we still have a bit of snow on the ground, I am thankful for this calm, peaceful morning.  As one who is not a fan of snow, you can imagine how I felt about last weekend's blizzard.  Never mind the fact that it cut our vacation short!  Snow.  I just see no good in you.  However I am very, very grateful that my hubby made the tough decision to get us out of Florida before the storm hit.  The thought of being stuck in an airport or hotel room with 3 boys and nothing to do......well it would have most definitely been worse than all the snow.  So we made it home and the boys and I hunkered down for several days while Chad was hard at work with the snow plow clearing roads for the state.  Who's ready for spring!!!???

It's always a blessing to spend time with family.  The fact that we got to do it at Disney World, in beautiful Florida sunshine made it just that much better.   Many fun memories, lots of laughter, delicious food, and very tired kiddos by the end of it all.  So. Much. Fun.

away we went. the kids did so great on the plane!

love this one.  They could see Winnie the Pooh through the window while we were waiting for our table to get ready.

chilly, but wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom

being an auntie is the greatest :)

Tinker Bell!

So fun that the oldest two boys are big enough for the roller coasters.  They loved it!

love this guy :)

the safari ride was one of Chase's favorites

Despite his extreme fear of every character we saw, I think Luke still had a good time :)

And this is what the drive home from the airport looked like.  yes that's Jack.  and no, this barely ever happens.

the next morning the snow was coming down and the commentary was pretty entertaining.

a wonderful vacation leaving us once again counting our blessings for the gift of family and time spent together.
